CSU is now offering working adults the opportunity to transfer their liberal arts core courses and electives, qualified military training, and/or business training as credit hours. The Bachelor of Technology degree provides a liberal arts education and a core of professionally related cognate courses for persons holding an associate degree in an approved technical field. Because of the spectrum of expectation of this degree, flexibility and individual tailoring of the cognate curriculum are allowed. No more than 68 hours from sources other than baccalaureate degree-granting institutions may be used toward the 125 hours required for the Bachelor of Technology Degree from Charleston Southern University.
